OpenAI launches role-specific Codex plugins, Sites for sharing interactive apps, and annotations to help teams across functions work more efficiently.
OpenAI introduced new features for Codex, which now has over 5 million weekly users and is increasingly used by non-developers including analysts, marketers, and designers.
Six new role-specific plugins bundle relevant apps and skills for data analytics, creative production, sales, product design, public equity investing, and investment banking, with more coming soon.
The update also includes Sites, a preview feature allowing users to create and share interactive websites and dashboards via URL within their workspace, and expanded annotations capability that lets users refine documents, spreadsheets, and slides by selecting specific portions for changes.
