Anthropic expands Project Glasswing to 150 new organizations to secure critical software infrastructure worldwide.
Anthropic announced the expansion of Project Glasswing, its initiative to secure the world's most important software, from 50 initial partners to approximately 150 new organizations across more than 15 countries.
The new partners operate critical infrastructure in sectors including power, water, healthcare, communications, and hardware, with potential attacks affecting over 100 million people each. Since launch, Project Glasswing partners using Claude Mythos Preview have discovered over 10,000 high- or critical-severity security flaws.
Anthropic is simultaneously releasing Claude Security for public use and developing safeguards to eventually provide advanced cyber capabilities to hundreds of thousands of organizations, recognizing that cheaper, faster AI models with cyber capabilities will soon be widely available from multiple AI companies.
