Supermicro announces new Arm AGI CPU-based rack-scale solutions optimized for agentic AI with up to 2x performance per rack.
Supermicro unveiled a new class of AI-centric rack-scale platforms featuring Arm AGI CPUs designed specifically for the computational demands of agentic AI.
The solutions include air-cooled and liquid-cooled server options with up to 136 cores per CPU, delivering over 2x performance per rack compared to traditional architectures and potentially saving enterprises up to $10 billion in CAPEX per Gigawatt of AI data center capacity.
The Arm AGI CPU's dense microarchitecture supports up to 6,000 cores in a single air-cooled rack, enabling efficient deployment of numerous dedicated systems for high-volume agentic AI tasks.
Five server models are available, ranging from edge-optimized configurations to massive density deployments with up to 45,696 cores per rack, combining Supermicro's modular architecture expertise with energy-efficient Arm processors to maximize performance-per-watt.
