Snowflake introduces new AI capabilities including CoWork agents and Cortex tools to bring governed enterprise AI into business workflows.
Snowflake announced new AI innovations designed to move enterprises from reactive insights to proactive operational execution. The company introduced Snowflake CoWork, a personal work agent for knowledge workers, along with Cortex Agents framework for building enterprise AI systems that can plan tasks and invoke tools across business applications.
New features include iOS and Slack app integrations, Deep Research capabilities, multi-agent orchestration, and Skills that allow teams to capture workflows in natural language. These tools are underpinned by Cortex Sense, which learns organizational context from existing data assets, enabling AI systems to reason with enterprise-specific business knowledge while maintaining security and governance controls.
