NVIDIA announces Factory Operations Blueprint (FOX), an AI reference design for building autonomous factory manager agents.
NVIDIA announced the Factory Operations Blueprint (FOX) at GTC Taipei, a reference design for building autonomous factory manager agents that monitor and orchestrate real-time factory data and specialized industrial AI agents. Built with NVIDIA NemoClaw, AI-Q Blueprint, and Nemotron open models, FOX enables centralized management of quality control, material transport, and worker safety operations while optimizing performance on NVIDIA DGX Station.
Leading manufacturers including Foxconn, Pegatron, Advantech, and Wistron are deploying the blueprint to achieve significant improvements such as 80% faster root cause analysis, 15% labor productivity gains, and reduced machine failure rates.
The blueprint integrates factory systems through standard APIs, automates AI model training using NVIDIA TAO, and visualizes operations through NVIDIA Omniverse. Third-party developers are building specialized agents using the Metropolis VSS blueprint and NVIDIA Cosmos for defect detection and production optimization across manufacturing operations.
