InfoQ, Monday, June 8th, 2026
Microsoft unveils Azure Logic Apps Automation, a managed SaaS platform for building production automations without integration developers.
At Build 2026, Microsoft introduced Azure Logic Apps Automation, a managed service integrating compute, connectors, AI models, and security controls into a single environment accessible via auto.azure.com. The platform targets organizations needing enterprise-grade automation without infrastructure management overhead.
Key features include isolated compute boundaries, built-in identity and governance controls, and Knowledge as a Service, a fully managed RAG pipeline requiring no separate database or model configuration. Microsoft also announced general availability of the Logic Apps MCP Server, letting AI agents invoke existing workflows as callable tools, and introduced Codeful Workflows for code-first development using the .NET SDK.
