Datadog expands its Bits AI framework with code remediation and new agents announced at DASH 2026.
Datadog extended its Bits AI framework to let DevOps teams automatically discover and resolve issues using telemetry from its observability platform. Announced at DASH 2026, the company is embedding an AI coding tool, Bits Code, across its portfolio to propose remediations and generate fix code from observability data.
New capabilities include a Bits Release agent that verifies code changes by generating validation plans, running staging checks, and monitoring rollouts, plus a Bits Testing Agent that automates synthetic test generation, and Bits Memories that retains knowledge from investigations, runbooks, postmortems, and Slack. Bits Detection automatically extends observability coverage as new endpoints and workloads are added.
