Databricks launches a coding agent, serverless GPU training, and real-time ML serving to accelerate AI development.
Databricks introduced new AI platform capabilities to speed up ML development. Genie Code is an AI agent that helps data scientists build and deploy models faster by understanding data quality, feature lineage, and production workflows. AI Runtime, in public preview, enables serverless GPU training on NVIDIA A10 and H100 chips without infrastructure management, while new Feature Store and Model Serving enhancements support streaming features and high-throughput serving at over 300K QPS with under 10ms p99 latency overhead.
