RSA Help Desk Live Verify Now Verifies Any User or Workflow, With or Without an Authenticator
RSA, Monday, June 15th, 2026
RSA extends Help Desk Live Verify to authenticate users without registered authenticators using government-issued ID.
RSA announced enhanced Help Desk Live Verify capabilities to combat social engineering by extending identity verification to contractors, partners, and temporary employees who lack registered authenticators.
The new ID Verification feature, powered by ID Dataweb, enables authentication via government-issued documents like driver's licenses and passports without shared credentials. Unveiled at Identiverse 2026, it secures sensitive workflows including wire transfers, privilege escalations, and VPN recovery. The functionality enters private preview in June 2026, with general availability expected in late summer 2026.
