Google has rolled out Live Translate for Gemini 3.5, enabling users to speak naturally and receive instant translations across more than 70 languages. The feature, launched June 9, allows people to converse without language barriers by listening, translating, and responding in seconds.
Available through the Google Translate app on both Android and iOS, the tool supports travel, business meetings, and everyday communication. While the technology may challenge traditional translation services, experts believe it will enhance rather than fully replace human interpreters, who understand cultural nuances machines often miss.
