AWS Unveils Agent Security, Data Access Tools

AWS launches Continuum and Context tools to secure AI agents and improve their data access for enterprises.
AWS introduced two tools at its June 2026 summit to support enterprise AI agent deployment. AWS Continuum detects security threats, validates solutions in a sandbox, and recommends remediation steps, while AWS Context builds knowledge graphs from organizational data to help agents navigate information silos.
VP Chet Kapoor noted that "Mythos set a new bar for finding vulnerabilities," reflecting rapid advances in AI vulnerability detection. AWS also expanded existing tools like the AWS DevOps Agent and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. The developments underscore the industry shift from AI pilots to production deployment and the corresponding need for robust governance frameworks.
