Barracuda Introduces AI-Powered Email Security With Automated Threat Response

Barracuda unveiled an AI-driven email security platform that autonomously detects and responds to threats across the attack lifecycle.
Barracuda Networks launched Barracuda Integrated Email Protection, an integrated cloud email security solution using AI to continuously identify and remediate threats.
The platform uses cross-domain telemetry from the BarracudaONE platform spanning email, identity, network, data, and applications to correlate signals in real time. Barracuda research showed a single phishing email escalating to identity theft, MFA bypass, and endpoint compromise within minutes.
Key capabilities include agentic threat investigation, AI explainability through the Bailey assistant, unified quarantine consolidation, and integrated reporting. The solution deploys via API without requiring MX record modifications, providing immediate protection with minimal operational overhead.
