HPE's Discover 2026 presented an integrated architecture for agentic enterprises across three layers: self-driving networks, agentic infrastructure, and intelligent hybrid operations, all managed through a single Marvis AI engine within GreenLake.
The strategy differentiates HPE from Extreme and Cisco by keeping separate but unified Mist and Aruba Central platforms rather than forcing convergence. Key announcements included Marvis Actions expanding to Aruba Central, new QFX5140 switching hardware optimized for AI inference, and aggressive VMware migration incentives with first-year-free licensing.
The approach addresses MSP licensing economics while positioning HPE as the only vendor offering complete full-stack ownership from switching to storage.
