At ISC, JUPITER Shows What Exascale Science Looks Like
NVIDIA, Monday, June 22nd, 2026
Europe's first exascale system, JUPITER, advances brain mapping, climate, 6G, and quantum research on NVIDIA chips.
NVIDIA highlighted JUPITER, Europe's first exascale supercomputer at Germany's Forschungszentrum Julich, which is advancing multiple scientific frontiers using NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchips.
The system enables breakthrough research in brain mapping through AI analysis of neural microarchitecture and climate modeling at 1-kilometer resolution including full Earth system components.
It is also driving 6G network development through neuromorphic AI and quantum computing simulation, achieving a record 50-qubit quantum computer simulation. The post positions JUPITER as a showcase of exascale-class scientific computing at ISC 2026.
