NVIDIA unveiled new AI software tools at ISC 2026 designed to accelerate scientific research. The announcement includes cuPhoton for astronomical data processing, DAQIRI for real-time data streaming, and ALCHEMI for materials and chemical discovery.
These GPU-accelerated solutions reportedly deliver dramatic performance gains, with cuPhoton achieving 14,900x faster loading and reading of FITS images from the Rubin Observatory.
