OpenAI introduced Daybreak, an initiative to democratize patching of vulnerable software at machine speed.
It includes an updated Codex Security plugin that accelerates discovering and patching vulnerabilities and helps prevent new ones from reaching production, plus the full version of GPT-5.5-Cyber released to trusted defenders.
A Daybreak Cyber Partner Program lets security partners scale these capabilities to more organizations. The goal is to give organizations the tools to stay secure as the cyberthreat landscape accelerates.
