The data found rapid adoption, with median use in Research up 56x since November 2025, Customer Support up 32x, and Engineering up 27x.
Non-developer individual users multiplied 137x since August 2025, and non-developer organizational users grew 189-fold. Internally, every department including Legal and Recruiting now uses Codex as its primary AI tool for work.
