Dell AI Factory With NVIDIA Advances Supercomputing-Class Infrastructure Powering the Next Generation of HPC and AI

Dell adds the PowerEdge XE8812 with NVIDIA Vera Rubin to its AI Factory for demanding HPC and AI workloads.

Dell Technologies introduced the PowerEdge XE8812 server as a new addition to the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, purpose-built for demanding HPC and AI workloads using NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL4 architecture and delivering up to 144 GPUs per rack.

Dell, NVIDIA, and NERSC are building Doudna, the next flagship U.S. Department of Energy supercomputer at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, with Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking.

The announcement comes amid accelerating global deployments supporting sovereign AI, engineering, and genomic science.

Dell reported over 5,000 customers already deploying the AI Factory worldwide.
