Anthropic announced the restoration of access to Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5 after export controls imposed on June 12 were lifted.
The company deployed improved safety classifiers to address a jailbreak technique that could bypass the model's safeguards.
Anthropic also introduced a consensus industry framework for assessing AI jailbreak severity, establishing standardized criteria for measuring capability gain, breadth, weaponization ease, and discoverability.
Fable 5 returned to users globally starting July 1 across the Claude Platform, Claude.ai, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork.
