AWS Certificate Manager now supports the ACME protocol for automated public TLS certificate issuance through a fully managed ACME server endpoint compatible with any ACMEv2 client.
PKI administrators gain centralized governance capabilities including domain validation, scope restrictions, and fine-grained access controls via External Account Binding credentials.
This enables automated certificate issuance and renewal for a wide range of workloads. The feature is immediately available across all commercial AWS regions, with pricing based on domains per certificate and volume tiers.
