Cloudflare gives all customers granular controls to separately manage AI Search, Agent, and Training bot traffic.
Cloudflare introduced new AI traffic controls allowing website owners to distinguish between three categories of AI bots: Search, Agent, and Training.
For new domains onboarding to Cloudflare, Training and Agent bots are blocked by default on ad-supported pages, while Search remains allowed.
The update gives creators finer-grained control over how AI systems access and use their content. It is part of Cloudflare's broader Content Independence Day initiative aimed at building a sustainable web economy in the age of AI.
