Harness Adds Autonomous AI Agents to Automate DevOps Workflows
DevOps.com, Tuesday, June 30th, 2026
Harness launches autonomous AI agents that automate DevOps workflows with governance and cost controls.
Harness has introduced Autonomous Worker Agents that enable DevOps teams to automate code delivery to production. These agents run in sandboxed containers and leverage the Harness Software Delivery Knowledge Graph to understand workflow context.
The platform features an LLM Gateway for centralized management with governance policies matching those applied to human engineers, plus audit trails for regulated environments. Per-agent and per-pipeline cost tracking helps teams control spending.
Harness offers a marketplace of pre-built agents including Autofix, Code Review, Code Coverage, Feature Flag Cleanup, Manifest Remediator, and IaCM Remediation, all available for forking and customization to streamline multi-agent coordination across the software lifecycle.
